Today I want to show you the beautiful Room! of Johanna from the lovely blog Löytö , her favorite Room! is her dinning room , as you can see her dining room have beautiful touches of colors, and great natural light also in her blog you can find her personal DIY, photos and lots of inspiration.

and every Room! have something to tell;

"My favorite space in our home is the dining space. I love that place because almost all furniture is old. I have found all chair, baby chair and the table at the flea market. I have repainted some of the furniture but some are as I have found them. The lamp seen in pictures (the white one) and the baby chair I have diyed also by my self. The golden lamp on my working table is also one of my flea market find. Also mugs on my string shelf :) I am addicted to mugs and spoke chair as you see;)

I love this space bacause we spend a lot of time there. I do not have any curtains right now, because it is summer. It is so green outside and it looks great. The space is light and bright, but also colorful with green, yellow and some other bright colors."

Today in The Room! I want to show you the beautiful home from the author of the lovely blog French by design, a home with great space, light and so charming. Like her beautiful blog she has lot of inspiration and every Room! have something to tell;

"I love my kitchen because this is the spot in the house where we all meet as a family to share dinner, chat about our day, enjoy a glass of wine, do our nails {i have two daughters ;-)} and overall spend the most quality family time.I also love the fact that I can entertain and cook at the same time. 

My living room is another favorite spot in the house for me. Because it does not have a lot of furniture and because of the high ceiling height, there is a great light in the room. I can sit with a cup of tea and browse through my favorite magazine while listening to relaxing music. It is the place I "unplug" from the stress of everyday life and activities. My rolling coffee table is a DIY project and I love the fact that it is very low. We usually use pillows and poufs to sit on the floor around this coffee table and play some family games."

Lunes de ideas!

Hoy empiezo el lunes con muy buenas ideas para ustedes y para mí también : ) porque me gustaron todas, y tuve la buenísima suerte que Victoria del lindísimo blog Cantando Victoria hiciera también el tutorial de cómo hizo un lindísimo almohadón con triangulos y me dejara mostrarlo aquí : )

Today I want to show you some great ideas, and one of those ideas I have the privilege that Victoria from the fantastic blog Cantando Victoria made the tutorial so I can show it to you : )

Para que tu cojín coja nueva vida

Resulta que tenía una bolsita de arpillera en la que había venido un regalo, esas cosas que guardo pensando que alguna vez voy a usar, y que en contadas ocasiones efectivamente uso. Sí, claro, ¡nada de coser para mí! Si ustedes quiere hacerlo, pueden comprar tela o arpillera y coser los 4 costados. Para mí uno solo basta y sobra.

Materiales que usé: arpillera, aguja e hilo, contact, regla, trincheta, rodillo y acrílico negro (para hacerlo bien debería ser pintura para tela).

Empecé creando un stencil con el contact:

Se dibujan triángulos en el contact. Pueden hacer uno o varios, porque después el stencil se replica las veces que quieran en el género.

¿Cuál es la forma que elegí para los triángulos? La que resulta de doblar un cuadrado por su diagonal (un isósceles rectángulo, según me enseñó la maestra de matemática). 

Se extraen las formas con trincheta. Los triángulos que sacan, guárdenlos porque pueden servir para otro proyecto. En este caso vamos a usar la parte de afuera, pintando adentro de los agujeros.

Pegamos el contact en la arpillera, pintamos adentro con rodillo tratando de no pasarnos (ejem, yo me pasé, se ve la mancha en la foto) y replicamos el stencil las veces que haga falta. Finalmente rellenamos, cosemos, y listo!
